Nike will be releasing a new model as part of the Nike House of Hoops Media Pack. This particular shoe will be paying respects to the Oscar-winning film, Hoosiers. The movie was released in 1986 starring Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper. The plotline was both inspirational and emotional and told the story of a small-town high school basketball and their coaches overcoming racial adversity in small town Indiana.
This shoe best represents the classic look of old school basketball kicks. They really stand out in their red and gold colorway created to match the Hickory Husker’s uniforms as portrayed in the film. The Blazer boasts a classic look and perfectly blends the popular vintage look with a modern fashionable style. These shoes are sure to go down in history as being one of the greatest basketball themed sneakers to hit the streets. Via SN.
