We just finished featuring the Nike SB Dunk Low - Blue - Black - Orange and here we feature another pair of Nike SB Dunk Lows. They sport a simple colorway which entails a predominantly black upper constructed from suede along with griptape on the toe box. Finishing off the shoe are white accents which can be seen on the midsole and the Nike swoosh. Release is scheduled for July 2009.Via Jordan8420.

They’re nice plain sbs. Whats funny is if you add white Kevlar laces and switch a few details like the midsole accent and inner lining you can call them low “venoms”… those shoes weren’t impressive to me.

I am definitely feeling these bad boys ! The only thing is is that they are a tiny little bit like the “Wieger” shoes that came out a few years back, but other than that, I give these an A++++. Would really cop a few pairs of these for my collection !

Yeahh, the Black and white blazers were dope, but that doesnt mean Nike needed to make EVERY shoe black and white now.

The suede looks pretty bad but i like the Griptape. I wonder if it would boost skating performance to have griptape on the part of the shoe that kicks the board to make it do flips. I must experiment. These have a nice simple colorway though, i like that part.

not sure which to get, not sure how I feel about the whole “griptape” thing either, is it actually like, griptape from a skateboard type of thing? or is it just a really rough material that they are calling “griptape”?
at Curt, yea, it’s actually griptape, dude. I just ordered the mids and plan to cop a pair of these as well.
I forgot where I seen it, but the original idea came from a guy who took a pair of non-sb nike dunks and applied griptape to the side panel, toe box and I believe tongue as well. I don’t know what the point of it is. supposedly it increases grip and it lasts a bit longer supposedly, dunno though, haven’t gotten them to skate them yet.
