In his fourth installment with Nike, Kobe decided to go with a low ankle design, something that is typically frowned upon by ballers. Kobe’s response is that he’s played in high tops before and that didnt prevent his from rolling his ankle. They are inspired by Heath Ledger’s role as the demented Joker in The Dark Knight. The most noticeable features of the Joker include the colors of his purple coat and grey shirt.
