Nike has decided to design a pair of shoes tailored to the sport of Martial Arts. The design team at Nike took it upon themselves to gain research and design ideas based on the 29th Summer Olympiad which took place in late August in Beijing, China. You can tell just by looking that these shoes were designed to be worn by anyone participating in sanctioned combat. The shoes will be available in either all black or all white colorways and are composed of mulit-layered leather uppers. They feature over-sized toecaps and a wider than usual sole with 46 degree treads, this basically means that you could really kick someone’s ass in these shoes. They would make an excellent choice for sports like boxing and kickboxing or grappling. Via Freshness.
