The man behind the Air Jordan 2009, Jason Mayden recently did this interview in which he discusses the beginning stages of designing the shoe, as well as specific details of the model. Overall, the hype built around the release of the shoe was not as great as that of the Air Jordan 23 (XX3) but maybe after watching this, you’ll have a greater appreciation for the shoe.
