The Eggplant - Nike Air Foamposite One are set to hit retailers in Febraury 2009. Originally released in 1997, the Nike Air Foamposite One (Royal Blue) was the signature shoe of Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway. The Air Foamposite One is arguable one of Nike Basketball’s most successful designs of all time. They were the first shoes to feature Nike’s innovative Foamposite technology. Since its initial introduction, the Foamposite instantly became a classic model among many sneakerheads around the world. The Nike Air Foamposites have been released in a flurry of color-ways so far but none as highly sought after as these. According to our polls from the Clash of the Kicks section (Nike Air Foamposite - Royal Blue Vs Eggplant), the eggplants are almost as heavily anticipated as the Original Royal Blue color-way! I got them two days ago (Jan.21), and they are fire!!!!!!…..the pics don’t do them justice compared to seeing them up close. Well worth the money, i’m going to get another pair when they officially drop….whenever that is.

They should have used a white backdrop to show these pics. Foamposites are pretty sick, but i’m not sure about the eggplant. its a really unique color and i like it a lot, but its just way too hard to match.
These are nice, I like the colorway. I like the foamposites lite better though
