The Black Mamba has received lots of attention in 2008, and 2009 will be just as goo to Kobe Bryant. He’s the reigning NBA MVP, the face of the popular Nike Hyperdunk model, and recently released his fourth signature shoe with Nike, the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 (IV). Here we feature a pair embellished with the Los Angeles Lakers colorway, as well as Nike’s new flywire technology. With that being said, you already know that they are extremely light. They feature a black leather upper along with purple / gold accents and a translucent midsole. The tongue features the words Carpe Diem which means seize the day in Latin. They are slated to release on January 17, 2008.
