In the Fall 2008 Todd Jordan, Nike SB Skater, designed the shoe dubbed the “Heaven’s Gate SB Dunk High.” In interviews of the past Jordan spoke of his inspiration for the shoes’ colorway and design style. Needless to say, once the public and Nike learned of the new nickname and meaning behind the shoe within the sneaker culture world, the Nike SB Fall 08 line up was tossed out and replaced with the UnFutura Dunks. Due to the negative association between the shoe and the Heaven’s Gate Cult Tragedy many sneakerheads were not able to get their hands on this pair. However, Nike SB will be releasing a very similar model to the much-hyped Heaven’s Gate Dunk. This new model has naturally been given the name “Un-Heaven’s Gate” and that’s just how the story goes.
The shoe design features suede materials and makes use of shades of purple, black and white. Via jordan8420.

REALLY TITE!!! but these are missing the ice blue on lining from the orig. heaven’s gate dunk samples that wer scratched. it suks that they took that color away. these could be like un-send-helps maybe….”bring-Helps”????? ha idk
Purple on dunks is always good looking. No matter what. Especially when theyre high tops. I like the suede on them too, it gives a nice effect. The black looks more like a really dark blue to me though.
I like the shoe, i just dont like the suede
