Originally released in 1997, the Nike Air Foamposite Foamposite One (Royal Blue) was the signature shoe of Anfernee ‘Penny’ Hardaway. The first shoe to feature Nike’s innovative Foamposite technology of synthetic leathers surrounding the upper and a clear gum sole for extra grip. Since its initial introduction, the Foamposite instantly became a classic model among many sneakerheads around the world. In February 2009, Nike will releasing the Nike Air Foamposite – Eggplant edition. Already being labeled as the best color-way in the series, it seems as though they will sell out upon their release due to the mass histeria in the sneaker community.
