Bring It Back: Reebok Pump Twilight Zone (1990)

Last week’s Bring It Back caused a huge comotion throughout the sneakerhead community including NikeTalk. We received positive response from supporters eager to see a retro version of the Air Jordan 6 White / Infared.

This week, we travel back to 1990 to have an interesting look at the Reebok Pump Twilight Zone. With the recent success of the Supra’s leading models: Skytop, Terry Kennedy, Vaider, Nike Air Yeezy, and Ato Matsumoto High Top. One thing we have noticed is that all these models feature an unusually large toungue. The large tongue is becoming a very distinguished feature as it makes for a great look when raised above the jeans. With that in mind, it would be a great idea to bring back a classic from the Reebok Pump series: Reebok Pump Twilight Zone.

Released in 1990, the Reebok Pump Twilight Zone never received its proper recognition as it was lined up with the likes of the Reebok Omni Lite and Reverse Jam series. They have a very distinctive look that can be paralelled to the likes of the Back to the Future McFly shoes. Let’s revive this classic… Imagine these in different color-ways!
