Last week’s Bring It Back caused a huge comotion throughout the sneakerhead community including NikeTalk. We received positive response from supporters eager to see a retro version of the Air Jordan 6 White / Infared.
This week, we travel back to 1990 to have an interesting look at the Reebok Pump Twilight Zone. With the recent success of the Supra’s leading models: Skytop, Terry Kennedy, Vaider, Nike Air Yeezy, and Ato Matsumoto High Top. One thing we have noticed is that all these models feature an unusually large toungue. The large tongue is becoming a very distinguished feature as it makes for a great look when raised above the jeans. With that in mind, it would be a great idea to bring back a classic from the Reebok Pump series: Reebok Pump Twilight Zone.
Released in 1990, the Reebok Pump Twilight Zone never received its proper recognition as it was lined up with the likes of the Reebok Omni Lite and Reverse Jam series. They have a very distinctive look that can be paralelled to the likes of the Back to the Future McFly shoes. Let’s revive this classic… Imagine these in different color-ways!

I love these. I remeber when these came out but did not have enough to cop so I got some LA Gear’s that were on sale at copelands. Anyway I would love for tehse to come back out. I do with they would do like they’ve doen with alot of other retro releases and make them a mid cut as well not just super high top.

@ PoloPlaya: I do agree that the Nike Flight Lites have a very vintage feel (high top, large tongue, neon colors on the reverse colorways, and retro design)
But they fail in comparison to Reebok’s classic high top pumps. The Twilight Zone and Omni Zone models have a MUCH more authentic look, and are much better suited for an old-school style.
I love these shoes, I would buy them right now if they had the green ones. BRING THEM BACK PLEASE!!!!!!
They need to vintage my era. Iam 28 and these shoes were the hottest thing when i was a kid. Lets bring back the kicks of the 1990’s.
The best sneaker designs were from 1987-1991. They should release these in full form, not in a wack ass hexalite mid like they did with the omni zones. The Reebok Twilight Zone and the Air Jordan V was the most popular shoes worn in 1990.

I actually had a pair of pump cleats for football in middle school just like these. and the pumps are probably the best reebok shoe ever the def need to bring them back. Bring back the freshness

These are dope i like them a lot, i really like the huge tongue on pretty much all old skool shoes. The designs on the upper are a little wack, but i could care less on these particular shoes.

Please. Please Bring Reebok pump twilight zones back. Iam 63 year’s old and have had too many shoes to count I do know that reebok high top was the best ever. When i can buy them i will get a pair for me and my son who is 37.
