Clash of the Kicks: Air Jordan 13 Black/True Red Vs White/True Red

Last week’s Clash of the Kicks asked Jordan fans to choose sides between two of the most sought after and classic color-ways of the Air Jordan 11 line-up. The Air Jordan 11 – Concords Vs. Space Jams battle ended in a glorious victory for the Air Jordan 11 Space Jams. It was a tough decision to make as any person in their right mind would love to have either of them in their collection. This week, we are back with yet another brain-teaser…

Here are the contestants:

The Air Jordan 13 was released in 1997/1998. On December 30th, Jordan broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s NBA record, by scoring in double-digits for the 788th consecutive game. He also led the Bulls to their sixth NBA Championship title. Hatfield kept on making original designs. The Air Jordan 13 (XIII)’s featured a nice hologram on the ankle and the design was said to be inspired by a panther. The outsole with pads like a paw and circles representing whiskers.The hologram showed the following images: a basketball,  the number 23 and the jumpman logo.

    the whites look a lot better- they pop out more with the black background. that extra bit of white made a whole difference to the appearance of the shoe.

    This was a tough one but i would have to go with the white ones, they stand out more

    I had to go with the white ones. The black pair is a little more boring. The white pair just looks a lot more balanced. Both pairs are really nice though.
