A few weeks ago we featured a Fila 96 [Grant Hill 2] x Reed Space collaboration, and here we feature another colorway in the old skool shoe, which seems to be attempting a comeback. They feature a grey leather upper which includes some patent leather piping, along with orange and purple accents. Very ugly. Suns colorways are really bad looking on this shoe. The grey base color doesnt look good on them either. The design on them is just really boring also. Not a good shoe from fila whatsoever.
I don’t think he’s sponsored by them anymore, so they aren’t really called Grant Hills (see adidas’ rename of the retro Kobes).
@ CJ Douty: If they picked just two of the Suns colors to go with, it would probably work better. One is easily reminded how garish many sports team color schemes really are when they hit the street gear scene.
