Slayer x Vans SK8-HI

Known as one of the Big Four when it comes to thrash metal bands, Slayer is included in a class along with such icons as Metallica, Anthrax, and Megadeth. The group was founded in 1981 by Jeff Hanneman and Kerry King. We’ve already seen music inspired collborations with Vans and Iron Maiden, Kiss, and Bad Brains. Their latest is with Slayer, and the model of choice is once again the classic Sk8-HI. They feature black suede along with red accents, as well as the group’s logo along the side panels. If you like what you see, you’ll have to wait a while before you can get a pair, as they are scheduled to release in early 2009. Via Sneaker Freaker.

These are too punk for me. Never listened to a word slayer has had to say. I dont like rock music, therefore, i dont like rock shoes. Its that simple.

i think this shoes is a cop-out..vans should feature more punk and hardcore inspired bands than these metal stooges..as these people really wear these brand.i dont see a connection here..whos ganna wear these shoes anyway?even slayer fans would be adamant.maybe you’ll end up being mocked if you think these kick are cool on you.slayer is better on t-shirts and headphones.shoes?stupid idea.
