Typically when we here of David Z, it’s about a collaboration with Asics. This time around, they decided to get together with Adidas to work on a special pair of shoes which have been dubbed the Black Ties. The model of choice is the iconic Superstar, which sports an all black colorway constructed from leather along with patent leather accents on the three-striped logo. The concept of the project was to create a shoe that could be worn with a suit but still be fashionable as sneakers. They are limited to 400 pairs worldwide and will release on Black Friday which is November 28, 2008. via HS.

These are ok, they look like any black pair of Adidas, which I believe you can wear with suits. I like the patent leather accents on the stripes though, they make the shoe look slick.
I’m not feeling these, there pretty boring they don’t look tha much different than anything else adidas has put out
I like these. The patent stripes are dope and they look really high quality. I would rock a pair, but with only 400 pairs worldwide, i doubt i’ll be able to afford them.
