Adidas Superstar Vulc – Aaron Horkey

Adidas is taking their skateboarding line to another level, and continues to re-vamp classic models for skate functionality. The latest is this pair of Adidas Superstars, which were tagged up by Aaron Horkey with some of his artwork. They feature a blue and grey upper with illustrations at the heel, as well as a lime green inner lining. They are semi-glow in the dark shoes, which is a feature that many fans yearn for. They should hit Adidas accounts next month and retail for $70. via Complex.

    Glow in the dark sneakers are always cool to me, or semi glow in the dark, whatever you want to call them. It’s not just that feature that makes these so nice. The blue and gray colorway is the perfect colorway to complement the lime green inner lining. I would love to have these on my feet.

    I want to see what they look like glowing! Thats just teasin us not to show us a pic of it. But i like the neon on the blue base color. The illustration looks cool on the back, but toward the front of the shoe, it just makes them look like theyre falling apart.

    I think its a good idea to have a skate line but it wasn’t executed very well
