Upon the grand opening of Los Angeles’ House of Hoops, fanatics were able to get their hands on the Kobe Bryant Energy Pack. Now, NYC heads will get their chance to get a pair, or even the entire pack. This Kobe Bryant inspired pack is scheduled to hit Footlocker’s House of Hoops in Harlem, New York on Monday, November 17, 2008. Let’s face it, Kobe is the face and spokesperson for the Hyperdunk so it only seems fitting. Each colorway in inspired by some facet of Kobe’s life. One pays homage to his High school Lower Merion in P.A. Another is a tribute to his favorite soccer player Ronaldinho. The third is inspired by the 7 years he spent in Italy as his father played in the Italian league. Finally, the last pair represents one of the greatest memories in his life as well as NBA History, as he scored 81 points which is the second highest point total scored by a single player in one game. Thanks to our friends at the House of Hoops for the pictures.

I actually like every pair of these. The first pair is nice and i really like the dark shade of red they used on them. The soles, laces and tongue tab are all nice little additions to em. The 2nd pair is crazy and wild. Thats pretty much why i like em, every once in a while that look works out. I like the design on the toe in the third pair and the accent colors and shade of red are both nice. I dont like the colorways too much on the last pair, the gold looks nice though and so do the graphics on the toe.
The first pair is the only one i like. The second pair got to many colors in it. The orange ones are to bright.
