Upon the grand opening of Los Angeles’ House of Hoops, fanatics were able to get their hands on the Kobe Bryant Energy Pack. Now, NYC heads will get their chance to get a pair, or even the entire pack. This Kobe Bryant inspired pack is scheduled to hit Footlocker’s House of Hoops in Harlem, New York on Monday, November 17, 2008. Let’s face it, Kobe is the face and spokesperson for the Hyperdunk so it only seems fitting. Each colorway in inspired by some facet of Kobe’s life. One pays homage to his High school Lower Merion in P.A. Another is a tribute to his favorite soccer player Ronaldinho. The third is inspired by the 7 years he spent in Italy as his father played in the Italian league. Finally, the last pair represents one of the greatest memories in his life as well as NBA History, as he scored 81 points which is the second highest point total scored by a single player in one game.
