Air Jordan 4 (IV) Retro - Mars Blackmon: The Air Jordan 4 (IV) Retro - Mars Blackmon (White / Varsity Red - Black) was dubbed the nickname Air Jordan 4 (IV) Fire Red Mars after the colorway, and after the picture of Mars Blackmon embossed on the heel of the shoe. We have all come to know and love him from his appearances in Air Jordan commercials. These feature a white leather upper with red and black accents. The only knock on these, as with all of the Air Jordan 4 (IV) leather versions, is that the front creases very easily, which is hard to maintain.
Air Jordan 5 (V) Retro - Fire Red: The Air Jordan 5 (V) Retro - Fire Red (White / Fire Red - Black) was released in December 2006 and retailed for $135. They are a bit different from the Retro Fire Reds released in 2000, as they don’t feature an all black midsole, but instead a combination of red and black, with a white toe, and a clear outsole. They also feature a “23″ stitched into the heel of the shoe, as well as the Jumpman logo at the back.

I have to go with the Jordan 5 Retros on this one. They actually might be my favorite shoe of all-time. Bold, but honest statement.

The only way I might choose the IV’s is if they had, had the Nike Air sign on the back. Mabe it would have given the V’s some competition in my eyes those V’s r sick and I grew up loving the IV’s(seriously).

The 5s are the easy choice in this one. And since there basically the same colorway i just think the 5s are a much better looking shoe
I really am 100% even on this one, but i had to choose so i picked the IVs. I like the mars Blackmons a lot but 5s will always look better than 4s. Maybe if there was Blackmon 5s, then it would be an easy choice.
THe 4s will always be my favorites. It got me into collecting Jordans anyways.

i go with the 4’s on this battle. pretty close, but the 4’s just got that extra in them that makes it awesome. fire red is “fire” but the 4’s are just blazing.
