Puma Blaze of Glory - 1968 Mexico City Summer Olympics

We’ve seen the iconic Puma Blaze of Glory used in many colorways, but they have also been used to pay tribute to many countries and events, as is the case with this pair. Here we feature a pair inspired by Mexico, and more specifically the 1968 Summer Olympic Games. That year was the only time the Olympics were ever held in Mexico, which makes the occasion a special one. The Mexican culture is displayed through the shoe’s inner lining and shoe laces, along with the number 68 embedded on the tongue. They also sport a speckled midsole, and Puma’s Trinomic technology. They are now available at select retailers including Finishline.

  3. CJ Douty says:

I dont know where nikes even come into the picture here seeing as how these are pumas but jared still has a point. I think someone (PUMA) got a little jealous of the reebok pumps. I think they really wouldnt look bad if they didnt have any colored parts on them. The tye dye look should go.
