Nike has decided to pay tribute to Japanese guitarist Hajime Tachibana of New Wave band The Plastics. Their model of choice is the Nike Air Force High, which has beened given the Supreme title. I would guess that something got lost in translation and it’s not so much a “tribute” to him but a shoe Nike asked him to style. He’s been a graphic designer for the last 30 or so years.
