We first brought you news on the Air Jordan 1 High Doernbecher Freestyle – Mr. Boober back in September, but now have some detailed pictures to bring to you. For the past few years, Nike and Jordan Brand have teamed up with the Doernbecher Childrens’ Hospital to release a series of charity sneakers in which proceeds would go to help funding hospital. This time around, Tony Taylor a.k.a Mr. Boober was the designer on this pair of Air Jordan 1 (I)’s. He actually fought Nephrotic Syndrome and had a successful kidney transplant. The shoes themselves feature a beautiful black and blue gradient design, with palm trees illustrated along the side panels. Jayson Mayden and Estelle Maranan guided Tony with his vision of the project and the inspirations took inspiration from the very experiences of his life. They are scheduled to release to the public on November 14, 2008 and retail for $125. pics and info via SoleCollector.com.

These are pretty dope. I like the wooden box, nice quality. I like the fade on these and the palm tree graphics look pretty good too. I like most of the Doernbecher shoes that come out, these are my 2nd fav. of them.
