Asics X David Z Gel Lyte III

David Z. has become synonymous with Asics as we are always seeing collaborations between the two. The latest is with David Z’s Ronnie Fieg, who has design what is now their 7th collaboration. The Gel Lyte III is the model of choice, and sports an upper embellished with pig skin, patent leather, and suede. They are rare as only 200 pairs are available worldwide, and were recently released to the David Z. Flagship store on Friday, October 3, 2008. Getting you hands on a pair will be difficult, but maybe you’ll be lucky. via Complex.

    The patent leather looks good but everything else is just ugly

    These are pretty good lookin to me. I think asics really knows how to make an upper with a lot going on work pretty good. The combination of materials looks really good and the colorway is nice as well.
