Adidas Munchen - Oktoberfest x Crooked Tongues

The UK based brand Crooked Tongues’ stock is definitely rising, as they are involving themselves in different areas of fashion that range from shoes to clothing. Their latest design is actually a collaboration with Adidas to create the Oktoberfest Munchen. In case you didn’t know, Oktoberfest is a beer festival that takes place in Germany every year, and so this pair of shoes pays tribute to that holiday. They feature a design inspired by the traditional Bavarian clothing lederhosen. They sport a soft tan leather upper with red [suede] and green accents. They are limited to 300 pairs and are available now at the Crooked Tongues website.

  1. I’m not feeling these, they would be better if the base was white but I probably still wouldn’t like them

I dont really like the indentations on the toe box on these. The colorway isnt very good either, red and green dont go well with a tan base color.

I like these, making these in tribute to Oktoberfest is a creative idea. I think I’ve seen that Bavarian clothing before, they dress like yodelers. It’s crazy how they can connect the colorway of these shoes to that. The leather and the suede go wonderfully together. I got to give it to Crooked Tongues on this one, very creative.
