Here we feature some photos of the air Jordan 1 (I) Low Phat in the beloved black / cement grey colorway. They sport a low ankle design, all black leather upper, and grey elephant print on the toe and heel areas. The red accenting is common on the black / cement colorway. The Phat model is actually inspired by Jordan Brand’s past as a skate shoe. Although it wasn’t until this year that they actually released their first skateboard shoe, the Air Jordan 1 (I) was used as a skate shoe during the 1980’s as other options were scarce.

yo where can you get these at?
Jordan really wants to break outta the basketball market? You gotta take a step away from Mike and get adventurous. Nike invented the hypebeast sneaker. Nike SB is a cult hit amongst sneakerheads and skaters. Hmmm? Jordan is a subsidiary of Nike. Why not directly collaborate with Nike SB and do a Skate inspired Jordan I that actually functions and performs as a skate shoe, complete with Zoom air, fat tongue, wider base for stability, and Jordan standard comfort and performance to boot. Don’t stuff the tongue on a jordan one and say, Oh here you go…a jordan for skaters. Karl Benz’s first venture was a bike now they are THE car to own (and yeah you die-hard consumers can argue about their quality and manufacturing issues nowadays) Mike wants to corner the market with his sneaker he has to think bigger, broader, crazier. The Jordan Hoop story will always be important but it’s relevance in the fashion world is finite, the shoe design is timeless, the story behind will not always be. Most people don’t remember Chuck Taylor, but his sneaker has been a staple for over half a century.

SHOULDA GAVE THE NIKE SIGN SUM COLOR
This is a really nice colorway from JB and one of the best for the Phats. They put the colors in just the right spots so they remind me of the 3s.
The white version of these are so much better, i dont like these that much.
