Over the next few months, Adidas will be releasing their 4 Elements of Hip Hop Collection, which will feature sets of shoes inspired by the DJ’s, Graffiti Artists, B-Boys, and MC’s, all elements of Hip Hop. This particular pack was inspired by the B-Boy element, and includes the Decade Hi, Superstar 2, and the Superstar 86. They pay tribute to break dancers, who played important in the early stages of Hip Hop. The Decade Hi model features an interesting design, designed to look like dirty cardboard which resembles the surface that b-boys used to dance on. I actually like both of the superstars equally in this pack, I can see myself wearing them.
I like the 3rd pair the most here. The gold and maroon really looks good on superstars and i think they should do it more often. The 2nd pair is alright, but i think theres a little bit too much going on with the blue designs. The first pair is really bad and pink will never look good with gold.
