Reebok CL SW Canvas Mid RBC - Rolland Berry - New York City / L.A Series Reebok CL SW Canvas Mid RBC - Rolland Berry - New York City / L.A Series

We featured both pairs of the Reebok CL SW Canvas Mid RBC – Americas Series a couple of days ago, but found out some new information from the artist himself. Here is a detailed look at the both the New York City and L.A. versions. The New York City model features a predominant black and grey color scheme, along with a red tongue and colorful accents on the side panels. The L.A. version feature lots of details, but if you analyze the shoe, you’ll find silhouettes of a skyline, palm trees, birds, and a woman (heel). Both colorways feature a combination suede / canvas construction, as well as a high ankle design. The heel is the shoe’s best feature, and all the artwork seen on them are original. They were designed by Rolland Berry who worked on them for months and whose name appears on the tongue. A third version of the Americas series, Mexico City, will release later on this year. Also, a Europe / Asia series is slated to release and will include versions inspired by London, Moscow, and Tokyo. Look for those version to release in October. These however are now available at select retailers, including BNYC Online.

I dont really like either pair. Theres too much going on and its too flashy for me. Reebok’s look jumps around way too much, they need to settle down.

this is a different look from reebok, But that does not make that a good look

Is it necessary for L.A.-themed gear to always that cholo-esque Old English lettering?

Anyways, overly busy graphics get in the way of Reebok designs. All they need is color.
