Vans will be releasing a special sneaker to commemorate one of their riders, Geoff Rowley. He will be receiving his own special signature sneaker for the eleventh time in the past nine years. As you can see by the picture above, the shoe features a stylistic blend of features which comply with the requirements of the everyday skateboarder. You can expect the shoe to be released soon in a wide variety of colorways.

I got this pair and cruised my board and they just felt weird. As soon as I got into some tricks I figured out that the sole on this shoe doesn’t grip the board at all! I’ve always skated classic vans and was hoping to find a decent shoe that would last a little longer. But, after slamming on a backside D and the shoe coming off the griptape even on basic grinds, I tossed these and grabbed my old ratted out ‘authentics.’ These are cool for wearing around town, but that’s a problem because they’re being touted as a skate shoe. The soles feel like they’re lubricated with oil or something~ I won’t even try to ride my board in these until they’re completely thrashed.

Well with that detailed description, i’m guessing the performance for these shoes arent so great. I dont like the design of them too much either, its a bit boring and the only really interesting thing about them is the gold laces.
