WTAPS and Vans have decided to sit down and work on the next line of the Vans Syndicate series. They came up with the Bash, which although resembles the Air Jordan 3 (III), actually pays homage to the days before skateboarding shoes, when skateboarders would perform their craft in basketball kicks. This time period revolved around the 1980’s, when SB styles were limited, as only a few brands were pumping out sneakers fit for the grip tape and none of them with a mid top cut. These feature a vented toe box, leather perforations, quilted side panels, and are available in three colorways. These are set to release this weekend in Tokyo with no word yet about a US release unfortunately. Pics from WTAPS via Hypebeast. via NiceKicks.

I like both nuetral pairs, the quilted pattern looks good on them. I dont like the black and blue pair though, it doesnt look as classy as the rest of the shoe with the quilted pattern and all. I like this look from vans though.
