This pair of Nike Air Woven’s were inspired by the Dragon Boat Festival, which is a Chinese celebration which is passed to remember Wut Yuen for drowning himself in a river. It was a tradition for people to throw food into the river so that the fish don’t eat his body. Nike will respect this event by releasing this pair of Dragon Air Wovens. They have already released in many retailers and will be available at your local retailer sometime this week if not now. Be sure to check out the detailed pictures after the jump.

These are really different. I like the weave on these and theyre just really different. I’m going to try and accept their uniqueness and i’m sure theyre really nice lightwieght running shoes. I would never spend a dime on them though. I dont like the colors on them either, a solid colorway would look better.
