Air Jordan will commemorate this distinctive achievement by releasing this particular Air Jordan 6IX Rings this holiday 2008 season. The concept of the shoe is very similar to the Air Jordan Dub Zeros released back in 2005. We can surely see some traces of the:

- Air Jordan 7 (VII)
- Air Jordan 8 (VIII)
- Air Jordan 11 (XI)
- Air Jordan 12 (XII)
- Air Jordan 13 (XIII)
