Converse seems to be at the head of this new “zipper on shoes” trend, which we first saw used by Christian Louboutin who first released a zipper sandal back in February 2008.They have just released a solid gold [colorway] in their Chuck Taylor model, which features a zipper at the back of the heel. They are currently available in Hong Kong, but no word on a release date in the states. We will keep you guys updated as we receive more information. via SN.
