Here are pictures of the line-up of the recent partnership of Reebok and Kraft’s Koo- Aid brand. The line-up includes some apparel ( shirts) and different colorways of a Reebok model, which all feature bright, head turning colorways. The first three flavors will release on February 1, 2008 ( Grape, Strawberry, and Cherry). The collection was inspired by NFL star Laurence Maroney, of the Super Bowl-contending New England Patriots, who has carried the nickname “Kool-Aid” since childhood. The collection comes in men and kids sizes and range from $50-$75 for the sneakers and $28-$65 for the accessories. via HS.

It just occurred to me how secure a Black man had to be about stereotypes to wear these.
