If you’ve been following the updates on the Air Bakin retro you know they were scheduled to release in August. Although it’s only the 19th of July stores have started to recieve their shipments. It’s safe to say the Bakin’s will release just like the Air Tech Challenge retro, once the shoes arrive they will hit the shelves. The Bakin’s have already landed at some Nike retailers, so you’ll have to stay in touch with your local stores. 1997 was the year the original’s released, and they will return 10 years later coming with the exact same OG make up (minus the flame logo). The flame logo on the tongue and back heel has been replaced with “Nike Air”. As of right now this is the only OG colorway that is set to release. Hopefully Nike will bring back the rarely seen varsity blue and black Bakin’s. That colorway is hardly ever seen in OG’s, so a fresh crispy retro pair would be nice.
