When Jason Kidd dropped onto the scene in 1995, the shoe game was in for a major shake up. In comes the ZOOM technology that will eventually set the industry standard for guard-based shoes. What got everyone startled was the unique looking signature model for Kidd that was unlike any other in design. These kicks look down right alien - with huge bulging bubble eyes coming out the midsole. The look was inspired after a flying insect. Fittingly so - Jason Kidd just happened to be a player that had eyes behind the back of his head. The rest was history. The bugged out shoe became a much sought after commodity of the Golden Era. Even today, the cult following is at feverish high.
